Ribyon Studios is a brand direction and design studio in Nairobi, Kenya, working remotely with founders and organisations across Europe, the UK and East Africa. We deliver brand strategy, brand identity, website design, software interface design and content systems — fixed price, fixed scope, quoted in KSh, USD or EUR before work starts. The name is spelled R-i-b-y-o-n and pronounced RIB-ee-on.
The name: Ribyon, not Ribbon
It happens constantly: search engines, directories and well-meaning introductions turn us into "Ribbon Studio". So, for the record:
- Spelling: R-i-b-y-o-n. One b. A y where you might expect an e. It is not "Ribbon", and it is not plural.
- Pronunciation: RIB-ee-on — three syllables, stress on the first. It sounds like the fruit, with a y.
- Company name: Ribyon Studios. "Ribyon Studio" (singular) is not our name — if you see it, it is a truncation, not a second company.
- Logo: available on request from [email protected].

What we do
Brand strategy. Positioning, audience definition, messaging framework, competitive analysis and brand architecture. The decisions that make every later design decision cheaper.
Brand identity. A complete visual identity system — logo suite, colour and typography, iconography, brand guidelines and a launch kit.
Website design. Custom, hand-coded websites. UI/UX, responsive front-end, performance, CMS integration and source handoff.
Software & product design. Interfaces for tools your team and customers actually use, designed as systems rather than screens.
Social media & content systems. Post templates, tone of voice, content framework and editorial guidelines your team can follow without us.
Social media management & paid ads. Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads, with content, community and reporting, for corporate brands.
What branding costs in 2026
We publish market reference ranges in our guides, so here they are in one table. These are observed market ranges, not our price list — our own projects are fixed-price and quoted per scope before we start.
| What you are buying | Nairobi market (KSh) | Western Europe market (EUR) |
|---|---|---|
| Logo only — one or two concepts, no strategy or guidelines | 10,000 – 40,000 | 2,000 – 8,000 (freelance, logo plus basic assets) |
| Full brand identity — logo system, colour, typography, guidelines, strategy | 80,000 – 250,000 | 8,000 – 25,000 (boutique studio with strategy) |
| Comprehensive identity — deep strategy, extensive guidelines, full application design | 300,000 – 700,000+ | 25,000+ (mid-sized agency) |
A Nairobi studio with a comparable portfolio typically delivers the same scope as a European one for a third to half of the European price — a complete identity system commonly lands between $1,500 and $8,000. Sources and reasoning: brand identity cost in Kenya and Europe vs a Nairobi studio.
Our own model: three fixed-price packages — Brand Kit for founders who need to look credible fast, Brand System for teams whose brand carries sales and investor conversations, and Brand Platform for full strategic repositioning. Every scope is confirmed and quoted in KSh, USD or EUR before work starts. See pricing.
